The McCain Article

Scrapper brought up a couple of points about the McCain article, and I agree with him to a certain extent. Portions of the article are unfair to McCain when they portray his actions as a POW and escaping from a disasterous fire aboard a ship. I think the author went out of his way to [...]

Turning into a politics blog today

Apparently 130,000 people besides me were so pissed off from last night’s speech that they gave some cash as well. Obama has apparently raised 8 million dollars since Palin’s speech.

Repub Convention

I watched last night’s speeches by Rudi Guiliani and Sarah Palin from the convention last night, and it made me wish Hunter S. But, [...]

Obama ‘08

I’ve been following the primaries for a while, I always like it more in the beginning when there are a bunch of fringe candidates that bring some much-needed ruckus to the whole thing (thinking specifically of Kucinich, Gravel, and Huckabee) but its been pretty boring and lame since around February. Especially since Huckabee dropped out [...]

Thinking about Caucusing

So yesterday, Faye mentioned the caucuses onĀ  Saturday to me, and I sort of mentioned that it’s all a joke due to super-delegates and the like, and really the whole primary being a sham in many ways. But in any case, as I thought about it throughout the day, I considered the fact that it [...]
